Turquoise Old Rope Bowl

Wheel thrown in toasted stoneware clay, once leather hard (that perfect state between too wet and too dry) I’ve carved into the surface to resemble the coils of an old, sea worn rope. We often find lengths of this on the beach and take it home to use in the garden.

This bowl is glazed in a soft satin white inside and outside is a matt turquoise. I’ve left the rim raw and it has a burnished look and feel. This measures approximately 10 cm high and 24 cm wide at the rim. Perfect for salads, serving, fruit or, well just about everything really!
